Colorado Real Estate Contracts and laws are consistently updated by the Real Estate Commission and this course brings you up to date with what's new for 2026.

The plan set forth by the Colorado Division of Real Estate and the Colorado Real Estate Commission to update forms only when necessary, either due to legislative or practice changes, has been set aside in recent years due to the ongoing increase in necessary updates. This year is no different, and yet it is very different.

Among the changes in 2025 is that the Division staff is now drafting the forms instead of the Forms Committee. By also engaging other stakeholders during the process the Division's plan moving forward is to gather more feedback from a wider variety of experts, and to make the forms process more inclusive that it was previously.

In this course we discover the most recent changes and updates, and even find out if any new forms have been introduced to the Brokers and the public.

  • All courses are self-paced & easily accessible in a click-through format on any device with internet.
  • Log in and out as often as needed to complete; any failed quizzes/exams may be retaken without penalty.
  • Support is available if you have any questions!

This course covers the most recent updates to Colorado Contracts and Forms using the redline versions of the forms and directly identifies issues with the contracts that Brokers need to be aware of.

Students completing this course will receive 2-hours of Continuing Education credit and will be able to identify and complete the proper Colorado Contract for a given transaction. The outline of this course is as follows:

  •  Introduction and Key Issues
  •  Updated Contracts
  •  New Forms
  •  Updated Forms
  •  Summary and Exam
