Course Description
It's the big 24-hour  Broker Reactivation course!  This course is approved by the Colorado Real Estate Commission for 24-Hours of Continuing Education credit.  The course is designed for Brokers needing to reactivate a license within a certain timeframe, or Brokers who have missed one or more Annual Commission Update courses within their license cycle. Here is who benefits from the Broker Reactivation course.
  1. Brokers wanting to complete all their mandatory CE in one course (can be taken every other license cycle, covers all 24 hours of CE).
  2. Brokers who missed one or more Annual Commission Update courses. 
  3. Brokers who have an expired or inactive license (for less than 36 months) and are trying to reactivate.

Students will complete a course orientation that includes the enrollment agreement during the checkout process.

Course Completion
All students are required to complete a student attestation at the onset of every course to verify they are the person who is taking the registered course. 

This 24-Hour Broker Reactivation course covers 10 key topic areas including the current Annual Commission Update course. To receive credit, all students will complete a post-exam covering the ACU and a course Final Exam covering the entire course. 

In order to meet the rules and requirements set forth by the Division of Real Estate the course final exam will become available to the student learner after the course content and associated assessments are passed. 

Certificates of completion (or any REC-33) will be available once you have completed all required assessments and the final exam. In order to recieve credit all students must complete the enrollment agreement, the assessments, and the final exam. 
DRE Rules Concerning Course


Broker Reactivation Course (Rule 4.2.A.3.)

Note that as an alternative method for satisfying the continuing education (CE) requirement, a real estate broker may complete the “Broker Reactivation Course” only if:

  • Broker’s license is currently active and did not use this course to satisfy their CE requirement in the previous licensing cycle; or

  • Broker’s license is either Inactive or Expired for an accumulative period of up to 36 months prior to activating an Inactive license or Reinstating an Expired license to Active status, and the broker is unable to comply with the other methods of satisfying CE.
